Nice list. "What a Plot" was not with The Wailers though.

I believe that what a plot, apart of being played with the wailers the studio version, was a song composed by bob and rita. I tend to think that the early work of the melody makers was based in bob compositions that never saw the light, or by the contrary, compositions exclusively done for them to sing (the best example of this last option would be children playing in the streets). Best regards.

"What a plot" has been released in JA on 7" (Rita Marley Music)
It's also the B sise of a Canadian 12" (Shanachie) in extended version.
The A side is "Children playing in the streets" (extended too).
Other mixes of those 2 songs ( for US market ?) are included on "Play the game right" Melody Makers LP (EMI)
First take of "children playing in the streets" was released on 7" TUFF GONG in 1979,very different from the later version.
"Trodding" has been recorded at the same time.
Nadine Sutherland "Starvation" has also been released on 7" Tuff Gong.
They are obviously backed by the Wailers.
