your not alone brada
trade or give jah's works. spread the word
I believe it's one thing for a collector to sell a rare album, nothing wrong there. and another to take advantage for continuous prophet.
the people that buy and re-sell and so on...for prophet, are in my opinion not true souls, reggae fans, but blood sucking victims of the system. but who really knows the other persons situation. life has its tricks on us all, jahknow.
If thats your ONLY way to prophet to live, than jahguide.
Talk to the youths, give an example, show dem jah way!!
Jahluv to all!!!

Irie Mystic,
Depends on the turntable your recording from, your conection to and from, and last the recording program. The original source of course is always better. the trick is to copy without lose. there are some loseless file systems, other than mp3, that serve this purpose. flac for example is a popular lossless file system for music.
If u just made a statment that i thought was a question...my bad.

Re: natural roots
THE thing that i CANT understand:
why a guy who have a so rare lp that less of 1% of reggae lovers have dont share it in mp3??
If nobody can have it whatever the format then i dont understand cause:
or he ripp it and the other have a taste of it too, then he is a true generous guy, or he dont ripp it and looks babylonian/egoist... why? cause if the album is crazy then he will prolly never sell it k? And have it in lp is giant when the mp3's are nothing compared k? Then he keep still an big point for excuse the price of the lp if he waste lot of money for buy it... Then he have no more excuses and can only be an egoist/proud person who want to make the others jealous of his stuff by exemple, the sad thing is that nobody apart him will hear the album till he will die or be stoled...
I cant considere these guy as true reggae lovers, the true reggae lovers have the good mentality who goes with this music and really dont care of sharing free what they win by money... If only the people who find the album by chance or hasard can have the opportunity to list it, this sorta of guy are a nightmare when they buy rare lp's, they close more again the doors for the other people, cause if they was not buying it maybe that another person generous and positive was sharing it in mp3 or tape or whatever once they got the lp... Everytimes that a people as these guys catch a new album they make it more "rare" again cause of their acting :/
Long ago it was logical, if you had a rare lp you was unable to share it (when tapes was unexisting), but now, i repeat, if you have the material for ripp a rare lp, you got no excuse for dont share it in mp3 if you dont want to sell it, it can mean ONLY that you are not generous, then plz, go do it with another music, or stop arging that you are a rasta, or a kool guy, or a music/reggae lover or something, naaah, cant believe you!

Re: natural roots
If i help to spread? I dont know how lot of rare albums i have give in mp3 to lot of reggae lovers who dont had it!!! For nothing often and more...
I have give to a guy from this forum MONYAKA "classical roots" just some days ago for nothing lol (well, vs 1 Meditations single that i was able to have in some p2p...)
I like make happy the guys who like really this music cause i know how they feel on, and it make me laughing to imagine their happiness... In a particular unpopular p2p i share with everybody my rare albums same when they have nothing! (when another collectors with only some rares albums act in kings and put 1 millions barriers between you and their albums! Well, now i got so long and too big lot of rare albums that i cant share more with everyone, or 1 million of people stick me for ages lol, but sometimes i reopen to everybody...)
If not i dont say that they call themself rastas for have lp's, but they act in rasta's in life or in positive people, but once you need their generosity they disappear...
More the time go and more im going prudent, cause i hate give rare stuff to people who are finally rats. I know actually a very kool young guy who buy rares lp's that he find alone or that i advice him, after he ripp them for me!!! He is as a real sun ray in my life when i considere all the egoist ones, peoples as him regive me strenght, we will deliver lot of birds! For the TRUE LOVE of reggae!!! BLESS!
