The label of this 12" disco displays "Keith Richard from Stones on guitar".

Is this version different to the album tune / other guitar work ?

Can't answer your question. But I can say this: "Shine Eye Gal" on the album has a completely different mix from the one on the Sly & Robbie comp "Unmetered Taxi". The mix on "Unmetered Taxi" is more "dubby", and features more prominent electronic drums.

Well, we went through all the differrent album releases of the 'Showcase' album before.

The track does not appear on the D-Roy release of that album and the mixes on Black Rose and Virgin are different to that 12", even though on the Virgin album it was always mentioned to have a Delroy Witter (aka D-Roy) mix of that track.
