Hi there, dont know if there is an existing thread, couldnt find one.
Well i was going to buy some records when i just wondered where the money goes with all that re-releases.
I do not (yet) own a vinyl player, so its not about collecting, its more about better sound than mp3 and giving something back to the musicians who made these great experiences possible.
For example Bob Marley, i heard his wife was taking all the effort and some of the musicians like carlton barrett dont get their part.
Or is it even Universal whos taking all the money from record sells?
same thing with greensleeves reggae classics, heartbeat, soul jazz rereleases and all the rereleases on european labels.
etc
So i hope you understand what i mean and maybe some of you guys can tell more about it.
