Can't really do anything but agree with what's been said about the music in this dvd...to a point.
The dvd didn't live up to my expectations, and it's really hard to believe they didn't include any music from the artists that they were referring to during the film. Even though the focus, like ACEtone said, is on how dub has influenced so much contemporary music today, it actually hurts the film to not have any of the original music that they are referencing.
Having said that, There were only a couple of producers interviewed in the film that I wasn't familiar with (the Brazilian guys and a couple others). I'd say most of the rest are somewhat well known, but usually more in the dance/techno/electronic realm than reggae/dub.
And, even though they would have benefitted by putting some real dub in there, I really like the music in the soundtrack.
Although, if you're into real dub - I'd say it's definitely not for everyone!
