Only Tubby and Scientist?!

Jammy, Phillip Smart, Sylvan Morris, ET, Lee Perry (on a good day) etc.

I suppose if you were to restrict yourself to Tubby and Scientist mixes alone there would still be quite a lot of music to listen to, but would you really want to do that?

Not me!

One of the most dissapointing Dub albums for me is Garvey's Ghost (Burning Spear amazing riddims mixed by somebody who doesn't know how to mix dub)

I'll be shot by some people no doubt! (But after 30 years...I still think so )

I have it (Garvey's Ghost) somewhere at home - couldn't get into either the vocal or dub versions. It's a long time ago but I do remember the dubs just being dull - boring even. Tried to listen a couple of times and then put the CD away. Maybe I should dig it out and see if my opinion changes(?)

I love the Studio One Burning Spear stuff, but I haven't heard a single other subsequent thing that Mr. Rodney did that interested even slightly.
While Culture (often slighted as a 'Spear knock off! No way!) produced some of the best stuff of the 70s. Great dubs too!

Well said, Jah Bill - of course one of the best dub albums ever
& I simply cannot understand, how someone is certifying it to be dull or disappointing...

Any dub album featuring random cuts from many distinct and disparate sources, are usually crap, as any form of cohesion or continuity to the music is lost.Sadly, these albums are too common, as money is all that matters nowadays. Capitalism deposits its effluvium everywhere.
