We have just formed a working band called NGN (the no good Negroes) based in London the band although just recently newly formed we have been playing together on the reggae circuit for over 25+ years. The central nucleus of the band is 5 plus min. 2 horns.
We are not seeking fame but just work as a backing band; it’s what we do best.

I went to the summerjam in Koln. It was great and everyone was friendly and pleasant. Food is expensive but that's everywhere. You shouldn't leave your valuables laying around no matter where you are. It was a non stop reggae party. I got hardly any sleep.

Anyone been to the ReggaeGeel festival in Belgium. Is the vibe ( and organisation) really as inviting as their website? Someone please say YES as all I want is to hear roots reggae all Summer long.

Also can anyone suggest a good venue committed to roots reggae based in or around Amsterdam - I really want to get onto the reggae scene over there but need some pointers on where to go or websites I can use to link up with like-minded people.
