I heard that Macka B took part in the recent Vegan music festival around about Easter time.He was the sole reggae artist there, and he knows that the vegan message is important.

As for anyone who believes in rights for humans and animals, go to ANIMAL AID and read of the slaughter techniques that people like Jamie Oliver and most tv chefs, go along with. All meat consumption is a barbaric, inhuman , mess.

This site is called "Roots Archives" and IS about little bits of plastic that carries REGGAE music that we all love. If you eat meat or don't eat meat who is it for anyone to say what is right. Lets focus on little bit of plastic instead of political views...Its sad when what we choose to eat becomes political. How about talking about REGGAE-ROOTS-MUSIC!

this is posted in the OFF TOPIC part of the forum so i see no problem with it.
Also it was very interesting for me as a long time vegetarian to discover the thoughts of rastas about meat!

No problem with this discussion. Ital food is a part of rasta which is a part of reggae. Therefore, it´s a legal discussion on RA board :)
It´s not only about vinyl as a piece of plastic, it´s about the whole message.

errr, no it isn't. It's utterly human. It's even healthy. You may say and feel otherwise but it's dogma not reality.(factory farming is a major problem for both meats and vegetables, though) But something has to be destroyed for me and you to eat, plant or animal; that's just the way life works. Most humans have always been omnivorous, which is the very definition of 'natural'
