Hi,
I was thinking of purchasing the above album which is an eighties compilation on a label called "Original Music".
My questions to you guys are:
Is this a good album as i`ve noticed a couple of comments on this site regarding other titles on this label as being dubious/bogus.
What part of the eighties are these tracks from i.e early eighties pre digital. Are they original mixes or re-edits and what is the sound quality like.
Thanks for your comments.

Re: Revive Reggae Classics
that does look good doesn't it? (that is if it's pre digital)...I have another bogus one on this label not listed titled "Sensi Dub 4 & 5" and the cover is glued onto a peice of thick paper, pretty cheesy!

Buy it! It's a great one!!!
Produced by Jah Woosh and got great tracks by Reggae George (Fight on my own), Joseph Earlocks ( Free up the Blackman) and the only chance to get a great Freddie McKay song called "Come down Sun"

Re: Revive Reggae Classics
Original Music is the label of Jah Woosh.
'Come down sun' and some more were available on an earlier compilation called 'Reggae to the Heart' (Sky Juice SJ0019LP). The Sky Juice label was used by Jah Woosh from 1984-1988 for some releases.

Thanks for the input guys.
But i`d still like to know if these tracks are re-edits of the original recordings. Roots Archives says they are circa 1980`s but I know some of these tracks were originally recorded in the late 1970`s.
Can anyone tell me if they are re-edits what year were they recorded.
Thanks once again
Dave
