Whilst we are in the Leggo mode of praising albums, i bought the Beverleys CD of this the other day.
Whilst I was familiar with the obvious Dekker output most of the tracks on this one were new to me.
When I played it I was stunned with what a fantastic album, really upbeat with some superb melodies that just made my day.
Anyway, can anyone recommend any other Desmond Dekker albums is this same vein. Or any other albums / CDs of music from this period (avoiding the obvious)

Under the aspect of availability I would recommend this one
[cover=7599,5057]too obvious?
The best and most crucial compilation of Desmond Dekker's greats though has to be "The original Hitsound of Desmond Dekker and the Aces" on Trojan (TRLS 226, released 1985). I don't know if that one ever came on CD.
