the peter yellow(purpleman) lps can go for $30-$50 a piece on ebay.the madoo lp $30-$40. billy boyo dj clash ive seen go up to $90-$100 on ebay.the little john lps could run high too.anything with billy boyo and little john together can run high prices $30-$45. this duo is very popular among collectors. these are some of the ones ive seen sold. you really have quite a collection, keep in mind that the ones selling for that much were in very good condition! if you ever decide to sell you can make a small fotune!!!!!

You can't tell the price by hearing the name of the record......
It depends on quality of the record, repress/original and quality of the sleeve.

Last word: don't look at ebay prices, cause most of them are ridiculous.

sure, you can go to EBay to see WHAT SOMEONE WILL PAY for one record. But, keep in mind that this is totally different from WHAT IT IS ACTUALLY WORTH-and in most cases, EBAY prices are way higher than what they should be (and are elsewhere)! While you may be able to find many rare records on one website, In the long run, Ebay has only caused collectible reggae vinyl prices to go up! It tends to make people go crazy and fiend for the vinyl. What ever happened to the good 'ol set sale lists? aDam

What prices ebay gets are the REAL worth of a record. Because the record is offered to a wide market, internationally based and often knowledgeable about their stuff. So how can you say that the sale price, which is the REAL market price, is wrong?

eBay has tended to find the real value of many items, some have started to fetch MUCH lower prices now they are easily available, whereas the reggae on ebay seems to have stimulated demand thus pushing prices up. I don't think I would, or even could have, bought so much vinyl myself without ebay - it just takes too much time searching out the various sources.

As for the original thread :

DON'T DO IT, DON'T SELL THEM! YOU WILL ALMOST CERTAINLY REGRET IT.
