What type of ..plays the selecta!?

Bless people , i got a question about the selectors, i didnt go to many soundsystems , bassically cause in my country the reggae scence of the soundsystems isnt very developed.
In the dances the selectors plays only 7" 10" and 12"? or they play some songs from albums?(dont mean that they play all the album lol)

well leon, here in New York, I would say 90% of all so called djs or selectors use a mac notebook to play music in the dances. there's a few though that play strictly vinyl mainly 7's and 12's.
i guess it's more convenient to play music outta laptop, but it misses the vibes of what a dance were done for............
