Hello,
Im high right now, while Im writing this. I downloaded a album called [Messenjah](http://www.roots-archives.com/artist/6231) - [Rock You High](http://www.roots-archives.com/release/4725) and this is not dancehall first of all, like it says here. This is roots. I would like to know if anyone knows a little bit more about this band, because Im loving this vibes... They are Steel Pulse 2!
Smoke it & Pomote it!

I thought they were from UK, but nice, reggae in Canada since the 80's! Didn't know it was already big there around that ages.

Re: Messenjah
Jerry Brown(The Jamaicans) of Summer Records did a lot to promote reggae in Canada in the late 70's with artists like Willie Williams, Jackie Mittoo, Noel Ellis plus lots more..
I have an old video of the Messenjahs somewhere, very nice band.

original keyboardist from Messenjah is still recording as Lazer Current - some tunes in a dancehall style
