Secret Black Ark/Lee Perry Productions
The more i collect 7"s through ot the years i stumble upon uncredited tunes that definitely sound like lee perry had a part in their creation. I recently picked up "fight against babylon" by Eric Clarke and it sounds black ark-esque...I know we have many experts like Ron,3pan1, and mick s. contributing to this site....what are some lesser documented black ark engineered songs? I mean some REAL phantoms?

I was wondering if "come on into my world" by Heptones is a Black Ark recording??? Got it on Love label 12", isn't it from Randy's? Maybe I'm mixing in my head...

Slappy,
Not saying you're wrong or I am right but for some reason the Eric Clark and El Pedo Burke songs don't sound too Black Arkish to me. Have you heard that they were recorded at the Ark or something along those lines? Be interesting to know if they really are Arks.

versionside,
believe me i'm not positive by any stretch of the imagination of those really are black ark..i'm just goin by how the ambiance strikes me..i know...thanks to smokeyroom Ron that Eric clarke recorded a few songs(loraine, brand new car, dreadlocks don't like that style) at the black ark, admittedly on differing lables...and black wax label hosted a few genuine ark tracks.....a Japanese friend of mine who works for small axe in japan confirmed that "madgie" was ark but who knows!

According to RKR ElPedo (Elpidio) Burke is produced by a G McLean. Doesn't really sound Black Ark to me at all.
That Clive Gardner song doesn't sound like it either and well, the same goes for that Eric Clarke song.
I don't know that Eral George track myself. You have a soundsample?

i don't have it digitized at the moment Ron but i could compress it and shoot it to your email...i concede to your experience/opinion on the other tracks Ron! are there any others that haven't been well documented that you can think of?
