Just found this 7 inch. After doing some research I have noticed it was released in New York on the Makossa label.

Seems like I found a Jamaican copy ( Jamaican address + telephone number on label.....) and not on the Makossa label, but on a label called 'matsimelia ( no artist or title printed on label, one side is completely blank)

Can anyone confirm this was also released on the US Makossa label ( please only reply if you have seen the vinyl record yourself or have it... )

Seems like a lot of wrong information is written about this very killer 7 inch ( probably because some people found an mp3 rip with the title makossa and matsimelia, which I have also seen/heard....)

Yes, I have the record on the Makossa label. On this US issue, the song is credited to "Matsimela"

that's really odd, the jamaican issue of this tune is released on the Matsimela label (with no artist/title on the label, only 'version' by Matsimela all stars on the flip )

while the US version is released on Makossa with the artist credited as Matsimela...
