Would've been awesome seeing them actually playing the instruments like before:D...any chance there might be a reunion ALBUM?..last time Forde was with the group they were ina techno-dance sound. Would be nice to hear the trio ina roots sound 1 last time:)

yes indeed tafriman.it would have been great to see them back again.you can never tell what is the bone of contention like.i know don instrumental is in a better position to know what it was all about(as i think he already gave us an explanation).i oftentime wonder why many other artists of a different musical genre succeed into doing that and not the reggae artists actually?

What a terrible and useless arguing. I am with donstrumental, we all should be happy that Aswad are still going strong after all these years, and I really don't care if Brinsley is still in there or if Tony has been around for 30ormoreyears.
For the better of it, all of them are still alive.
The Aswad 2009 are doing a great job both as a live band and on record. Go and check that 'City Lock' album if you will, there are some real nice sounds to enjoy.
Off course, 70s and 80s are over and done but these guys have found their formula again (which they somehow lost after 1986).
Talking about reuniting all the original staff is useless as putting a scrambled egg back together again.
For the better of it, all of them are still alive.
