I hold 'Humanity' and 'Forces of Music's Liberated Dub' as separate sets.In my opinion,these two sets are totally different in many respects.I dont understand why these two had to be issued on one CD/LP.
It would make sense to me if Humanity at least featured vocals of 'liberated dub'tunes.In this case i would say this combination http://www.roots-archives.com/release/3565 was not well thought of (IMO)
What do you think?

"Liberated Dub" is a Channel One production featuring one of the many incarnations of the Revolutionaries (though without Sly Dunbar) if the orgiinal sleeve notes are correct. It's a collection of dub recordings produced by Roy Cousins.
"Humanity" is a collection of recordings done at Channel One and Dynamics with totally different casts of musicians.
There is no connection at all to Roy Cousins here.
Orange Street is (was?) kind of bogus label, releasing stuff that was not licensed to them.

Also noted that the 'Liberated Dub' albums from the forces of Music and the one on Humanity albums have diffrent tracks/mixes.

orange street released all kinds of crap and doing things like sticking disparate releases on the same cd, seemingly just because, is typical.
dont know if they are still releasing cds but i bought the one you mention and while i like the albums separately, thought the same as you...these dont belong together. shortly thereafter i started ignoring orange street releases in favor of more legit stuff.
i forget if enzo hamilton or webster shrowder is mentioned on the liner notes but typically their names are a clue as to the (lack of) legitimacy (eg: rhino uk, esoldung, crocodisk, etc)
all that said, occasionally they put out excellent stuff (not orange street, im talking about the rhino uk etc gang of labels) if youre willing to overlook the likely illegimate aspect of them.
