Help with another tune

I am trying to identify a song from about 20 years ago. It was all about the perils of going out with Indian girls. I have no idea of artist or title but if it helps the first few lines were something like:-

I've been trawling the net for it for years but as yet no luck but, I'll keep on looking.

We are playing in Birmingham on 17th December 2010. Playing 80's 90's Funk, Soul and Lovers Rock. Will also be food and a DJ playing some old fashioned reggae. £10 per ticket

No wonder you are searching for years coz the title is 'indian chick' and not hockeystick: The album seems to be widely available even on itunes.

My own thought on the name reminds me of Israelites add with the guy with the storyboards, saying what he thought Desmond was singing, but he couldn't confirm until he'd heard in on I think it was Agfa tapes!
