I can give you some examples of tunes that sold for very modest prices ( less then 50 dollar..)but after they were used on mixtapes posted on B&F the prices went sky-high 150 to 300 dollar.

wild eyes - wickedness. Mankind - these 3 girls. Cane Juice - joker bad boy. An alternative cut to Don Icky / cooperate. Harmodio 7 inch forgot the title..

Not a good thing imo, records will be available for the happy rich few only...
yeh a true but thats how art goes
I am no way a supporter of that madness.
to me every hit must be available at any time. the younger generations depend on that.

is the mix on the "running from jamaica" 7" different than the 12"?
I have both versions, and the mixes are quite different, especially the dub parts.

Now, I have an mp3 of a totally unidentified song, it might be called "Uncle Tom", with the typical 1978 Perry sound, but no information about the singers (they're be a duo).
Anyone knows ?

It is a from a old web compilation called "CD-R rare 7'' Compilation III" by a certain Rasdragon...

Here the tracks :

Apollo 10 3:01 Rupie Martin
Herb Ma Dub 3:12 Skatalites
Boogooyagga 3:29 Rupie Edwards
Booga Yagga Girl 2:03 Goldtones
Unknown 2:51 Lloyd Charmers
Penetration 2:17 Zig & Zag
Guza Guzay 2:24 Bo & Pee
Uncle Tom 7:14 Unknown Perry
Going To The Moon 3:17 Locksley Mellow
Don't Watch T.V. 3:13 The Most High
Hop Scotch 2:47 Eldoradoes
Unknown 2:46 Niney & The Destroyers

The Uncle Tom track includes a rather basic dub version.
It sounds from late Black Ark period, as many tracks from the "Lost Treasures Of The Ark" 3 CD set...

This song is from the year 78' and its ripped from a studiotape.

In my opinion it could be George Faith singing in a different style... but 3pan1 disagrees.

The title clearly isn't "Uncle Tom". My guess is that its something in Amharic.

3pan1 has more information of this studiotape.

The title to my ears is "Scornful Thought", and doesn't sound like George Faith to me.

... first i didnt have a clue to what you guys were talking about ... now i think you mean a track from a studio tape that came out of the blue some years ago with mostly Ark material, AND Sam, several takes of ONE non Ark George Faith vocal (could be a thing for Lloyd Campbell not sure) but all the Ark stuff WITHOUT a George in sight ...

my title guess is [Come For Jah](http://www.fileden.com/files/2009/1/9/2 ... ForJah.mp3) or Comfort Jah maybe, whatever

From the sound sample, this is the track I meant (whatever the title is, but yes, no Uncle Tom in sight).
