I'm wanting to get the best ska releases from the 60's, though I don't want any compilations as these are easier to find than the original releases. Of course I have been listening to ska for a while, but I haven't managed to find the treasures from the vaults yet!
Do you have any suggestions?

Re: Ska ska ska
most original ska albums are compilations as well, since the album market was very small in those days.
get some skatalites for studio one, treasure isle, randys & top deck: instrumentals and vocals by ao: wailers, delroy wilson, jackie opel, dominoes, maytals etc.
also look out for prince buster material.
skip byron lee.
