i dont know anyone elses experience with these series (x gold i mean) but i thought they were pretty marginal in the main. very subdued levels, poor dynamic range, often chopped off beginnings and/or endings and nothing really all that rare, typically sounding like they were sourced from trojan records releases. i picked up a bunch when ernie b had them for 1.99$ or something each and i was glad i did...they were worthwhile for that price but i would be hard pressed to pay more for most ive heard.

i dont even understand what youre saying here. "king jammys gold" remixed them? "king jammys gold" is a person?

they are sucker bait. and sped up. pure crap. and not rare versions at all aside from some possible modern day fiddling. i played a few of them this weekend and have come to the conclusion they are wasting space in my collection in the main...even at 2 US$ each i shouldnt have wasted my money. i would be embarrassed to play them out personally.
