Re: Morwells A1 dub
It was "Dub Me" that got issued on B&F
[cover=5239,336]
A1 dub released on Trojan is later than this but is also a great album. Don`t know oof it being on CD though.
Would be interested to know the answer to this one too.

Just looking at the cover art (above) and wondering if the "ME" in the title "DUB ME" stands as an acronym for M-orwells E-squire? (random thought, I know)

Re: Morwells A1 dub
Hello,
A1 Dub is an underrated classic in my opinion, but I am not aware of it ever being reissued on CD. This vinyl reissue contains at least a few tracks from the A1 set (though the mixes might be slightly different)

I have both in my collection, and it might be easier (and cheaper) to get the Original Music issue than the original Trojan.

Re: Morwells A1 dub
Sadly, this classic has never been reissued. The same can be said about the vocal counterpart (not all tracks though).
So, Pressure Sounds (whoelse?) step up and make these two available again:
[cover=2015,2377][cover=2056,2425]

Just got the A.1 Dub LP and it all sounds oddly familiar... Is there another dub album that has different mixes of lots of the riddims found on this one? I have a feeling there is, but I can't quite remember what it is...

Some Tracks are from HardCore Dub / Sly & Robbie.

Re: Morwells A1 dub
I have both the A1 and Hardcore Dub sets, I have not tried listening to them track for track but to my ear the mixes are very similar, if not the same. Original Music releases are often pirated so it wouldn't surprise me if they were just released again as is.
The two albums share 4 or 5 tracks, but it's the versions from Morwells "Kingston 12 Toughie" that make the A1 Dub set so great. The version of "Brain Food" is massive, collie weed style!
