yeah that i roy/jazzbo feud immediately came to mind. all those are available on a great pressure sounds cd/lp right now.

one of the most ridiculous though was the "twice my age" run where everyone was talking about going with girls half their age or twice their age or then it came down to absolutely the same age (cocoa tea i think), not a minute older and not a minute younger. kind of hilarious.

Another feud with some "answer" tunes was the one between Prince Buster and Derrick Morgan.
Buster was upset that Morgan left his label and went to Leslie Kong's "Beverleys". Tunes are:

Prince Buster - Blackhead Chinaman
Derrick Morgan - Blazing Fire
Prince Buster - 30 Pieces Of Silver
Derrick Morgan - No Raise No Praise

No wanna underage love!
No wanna overage love!
No wanna underage love!

I wanna be in love with a girl
Who's exactly my age
Don't know how it feels
But I know I'm not afraid

And if she's one day over
That means she's overage
And if she's one day under
That means she's underage

Don't give me no overage love
Don't give me no overage love

Though it's so hard to find someone
Who's exactly your age
But I would rather to search
For the rest of my days

When I fall in love
I don't want to be afraid
So I want someone
Who's exactly my age

Don't give me no underage love
Don't give me no overage love

Cause when you find the one you loves
Gotta make sure that she cares
Whether she is a bopa
Whether she is a millionaire

And the love that you need
Don't base it up on what she's got
Or you'll find out later
She's been cheating behind your back

Don't give me no overage love
Don't give me no underage love

I wanna be in love with a girl
Who's exactly my age
Don't know how it feels
But I know I'm not afraid

And if she's one day over
That means she's overage
And if she's one day under
That means she's underage

Don't give me no overage love, Lord
Don't give me no overage love, hey

No wanna underage love!
No underage love!

Now it's so hard to find someone
Who's exactly your age
But I would rather to search
For the rest of my days

When I fall in love
I don't want to be afraid
So I want someone
Who's exactly my age

Don't give me no underage love
Don't give me no overage love

I wanna be in love with a girl
Who's exactly my age
Don't know how it feels
But I know I'm not afraid

And if she's one day over
That means she's overage
And if she's one day under
That means she's underage

Don't give me no overage love
Don't give me no underage love...

I heard that once:

jennifer lara "My Man My Man" was an answer to a tune called "my woman" on studio one too. I just can't remember the name of the second artist. If someone can confirme this...

Another one on Studio1 is Dudley Sibley's "Run Boy Run" which is an answer to "See Them A Come" by Mr Foundation.
