I have a 12" version of this song from an old 8-track tape. It's a discomix of Left With A Broken Heart / See A Girls Face - George Nooks / Ranking Joe.
See A Girls Face appears on Ranking Joe's Natty Superstar album and the 7" of Left With a Broken Heart is readily available.
I've never seen the 12" listed anywhere officially. Does anybody have any information about it?

Thanks Han,
The 12" you described sounds like two separate songs - not a discomix with both songs spliced together. It's a mystery. I've been searching a long time and haven't come across any 12" versions whatsoever. I called Rocky One several years ago (as the 7" of Left With A Broken Heart appears on Spotlight on Reggae Vol. 3) but the guy I spoke to couldn't shed more light on the subject of the 12". It seems strange for the 12" version of such a great song to be so rare and not listed in the usual places.
I believe the 8 track tape I had was made by Madman Maddy. Maybe he spliced the two 12" versions together. I tried it with the 7" and it wasn't identical to the 8 track version I have.
If you own the 12", I'd be grateful if you could tell me exactly what's written on the label.
Thanks Selecta
I could only find Ranking Joe - See A Girls Face listed on the Natty Superstar album (which I already have). This is a 7" version. The 12" version does not appear to be listed on any database I could find.
Recently there have been a few CD's being released with discomixes from around 1978 - 1980. Hopefully this one will turn up on a new release!
Peace.

Hi, I have this 12'', is a US press JOE GIBBS(JGMD 8068) from 1979, Nooks followed by the Ranking Joe DJ piece on the A side and a 3 minutes version on the B side. Song credited to John Holt.
I didn't know it was rare.
