Has anyone bought/heard this yet?
Have they done a good job with the (re)mastering? I don't want to waste my money on it if they've dynamically compressed and boosted the heck out of it to make it sound more 'modern'.
Also - the rare bonus tracks. Any good?

I think so. Haven't seen it on sale as vinyl anywhere, at least.Geoffrey wrote:CD only, right?
By the looks of it, they'd have to make it a quadruple album.

They have done a great job in the remastering. Pity I can't say the same about the sleeve. Someone needs their eyes testing. The original sleeve had a nice blue background now the deluxe box has a muddy greyish-green background. (Rolls eyes and throws hands up in the air)

Predictions Dub is another (previously unreleased ?) dub to the track Police & Thieves, featuring percussions.
Grumblin Dub has an additional intro not featured on the UK single.
Tedious and Tedious Dub are here both in their full lenght. I'm always happy to discover new parts of well known tracks (I mean dub tracks), because it's impossible to guess which ways a Lee Perry dub is taking when you've not heard it.
Not all tracks are taken from the tapes (some are lifted from vinyl), but it's great to have for instance Cross Over/Cross Over Dub that were.

Correction : Cross Over/Cross Over Dub is lifted from vinyl (could well be from Trojan's Open The Gate box set).
The main tracks are identical to Island's RRCD 57 re-issue.
That are the full-lenght mixes of the tracks.
And in the process they kept the alternative "Police & Thieves" mix.
It means the original "Police & Thieves" mix of the track is not on the Deluxe Edition.
But that's not bad, there are plenty of other versions there ! And the original is on numerous compilations. Just a bit odd maybe.

Thanks, Nicholas!
That means I´ll hang on to the previous bonus tracks-edition...(and also buy this new one, of course!)
