Does anyone have a track listing for the JA version of *The Good The Bad & The Upsetters*?
I don't seem to have it listed on my website and Ron's site only has the UK version (or at least that's all I could find there).
It was my understanding that there was only a UK version of this LP and that it was hastily thrown together after the Upsetters had a UK hit with "Return Of Django". And yet this auction reveals that there was a JA version:

Re: The Good The Bad & The Upsetters
From Give Me Power (David Katz´ Perry discography):
"The Good, The Bad And The Upsetters" (Upsetter JA TTL 67) 1971
Same Thing All Over
It´s All In The Game
Big Ball
If You Don´t Mind
Dracula
It´s Alright
Man To Man V-3
Soul rebel V-4
Must Reach You
Equalizer
Down The Road
Same Sign
On The Rock
Same Thing V-3
It seems Perry put this out in the UK sleeve with stickered track listing.
The UK LP had nothing to do with Lee Perry at all, I think.

Thanks, Blackarkrock. Someone was asking, and I was drawing a blank. Don't know why this isn't in my Scratch discography, so I'll have to add it. Better yet, track down a copy of the LP!

Yes, the UK-LP (Trojan TBL 119) had nothing to do with Lee Perry. Despite the title these two are different records.blackarkrock wrote:It seems Perry put this out in the UK sleeve with stickered track listing.

I recall that Lee Perry once said this is the album with which he was most unsatisfied.
