Ites,
Just wanted to know who are the session players on Tell it to the children by Ijahman, doesn't appear on my cd.
It's really killer playing.
Any other info about that album is welcome
One Love

The killers on this album are "Closer to You", "Tradesman" and "Thank You". Of the first two there were Jahmani 12" back in the days.

Wow! Never seen the 12" of Closer To You. One of the best lovers out of Jamaica.

Re: musicians on tell it to the children
indeed a grat album."closer to you"is heart wrenching as are "sinner man"and "tradesmen".even the sleeve illustration is very illustrative of a rasta ambassador weary and disheartened to be spreading the words of righteousness of righteousness to the world without being heeded.a truly great album both lyriclly and musically

And today I found the Closer To You 12" in a record store! £5!!! I'm so happy. The flip is »Praises In Strange Places«. Don't remember if it's one of the really good songs on the LP though. Will give it a rinse now and find out.
