How much is too much

Just wanted to know how much would you pay for a hard to find and hard to get cd.Some prices people are asking for is crazy.I was just looking for some feed back.On ebay someone is selling a hard to get cd for $300.00 dollars as a starting bid is that too much?

I know which cd's you are talking about Penz, I've seen them myself. $300 a piece for three Misty In Roots cd's (Earth, Wise and Foolish, and Musi Tunya) and a Best of Black Slate cd.... quite ridiculous if you ask me. Although these cd's are quite rare, I wouldn't pay 300 for all those cd's combined. At the most, I would pay $50 for each one. I guarantee no one will bid on those overpriced cd's.

It's worth whatever some desperate person will pay for it. I think $300 is a lot to pay for a CD even though I occasionally sell used music online myself. I don't think I've gotten over $75 for anything, and was quite pleased to get that!

Thank's for all the replies.I was just curious if that was the norm.I collect roots cds so I was looking for the Black Slate cd.But I knew that was a bit much for used cds.
