Carlton Livingston LPs

Post by Geoffrey »

I just got Carlton Livingston's Trodding Through The Jungle LP, which is the first bit of Livingston material in my collection, and it's superb. Just wondering if any/all of his other LPs are up to this standards? Any particular recommendations?

Thanks!

Yes, they are. I don't know how Soweto is but I can recommend Rumors and Fret Them A Fret/100 Weight Of Collie Weed (more or less the same LP).

The Wicked and Children On The Mountain Top are great tracks from Soweto. Definitely has that early 80's Clive Jarrett sound.

'Soweto' is a classic. IMO the best he made.
