Aswad's "Hulet"

"U-Roy's "Runaway Girl" (on Barrington Spence's "Just Another Girl") has been my fave intro for as long as I can remember. 30 years or so."

I always loved the intro drum break of 'Coming in from the cold' of Uprising LP, and always thought about Carlton Barrett, but a few months ago just read about Santa drummin in this one. Anyone can confirm that?

Thanks

Santa played Drums on Chant down Babylon, the opener of the ("follow up") Album Confrontation. Another great Drum Intro imho. Maybe the writer of that article you read was mistaken there.
