Horace Andy
I want to discover Horace Andy/Hinds - and am wondering what first album I should buy. I'm looking for reggae or dub really - not so keen on dancehall. Love his version of "fever" and "Big Wheel" that he did with Massive Attack. Is "You Are My Angel" the song that Shaggy covered? As you can see I'm in a dilemma as to what to buy - any recommendations? Thx

Re: Horace Andy
His best from very far are "dancehall style" for me! It was the first album of him that i had hear, i was deceived by all the others compared after...
("exclusively" is the same album with some track in more and some in less, have it too!)

Buy Blood and Fire's reissue of In The Light and In The Light Dub. This is a classic album together with Prince Jammy's dub version. You can't go wrong with this one!

You Are My Angel is the kinda softer weak pop stuff, go for (my personal order of best):
1) Good Vibes (75-80)
2) In The Light + Dub (77)
3) Dance Hall Style (82)
4) Feel Good All Over (2cd 70-75)has almost all
of You're My Angel
plus Trojan just released Natty Dread (78) last week

Re: Horace Andy
There is a double CD called King Tubby Tapes, the second CD are the dub version by King Tubby from the first CD, it is nice.
There are also great songs wich i think they don't appear on that CD, like Skylarking or Quiet Place
