Supersonics 1,2,3 Kick
Does anybody know, if there is an early 80s dub or vocal version of this tune. Backing band probably Aggrovators.

The only versions I have ever heard are the Tommy McCook and the original Xavier Cugat cut (a big hit in it's day). Don't think that there is an early 80's version.....it doesn't really fit the slower style of the day.
If there is one, I would love to hear it also.

Thank you davek for your reference of the XC original.
I definitely heard at least a part of a later dubplate version of this tune somewhere, but forgot about it until recently.
I think a deejay was even toasting over it.

Inventors - 1 2 3 kick , Aires, Jamaica, 1979
has some ad lib 'Bims' etc and the one two three kick lyrics, but now more in a martial arts theme than as a conga dance (the xavier cugat version)
1,2,3 kick, kick him make him feel it.
according to RKR produced by Bullwackies, but my copy states Sir Collins as the producer
and it sounds more like the revolutionaires than the aggrovators

Agree...jumbo to the rescue!!!
The tune I heard was not sounding like a Barnes production & you
are right, definitely not like a conga dance.
What a pity that it is not included on an album or compilation.
