well i'm from israel...me have a soundsysteam call "A-MAR" (just like AKON) sound .well play yardie dancehall music...we are the only sound in israel that plyes dubplates.

as far for live thing..well most of the band blend reggae with rock/israeli music.

IYAM BEND - blends israeli rock + root's / new roots music.

KANGURU - blends israeli rock + rub a dub music.

HATIKVA 6 - blends israeli rock + dancehall music

RAS DANIEL - veteren roots artist
TONY RAY - veteran roots artist (marley stuff)

as far as the sounds here are couple interesting :

A-MAR SOUND - juggling sound (only sound fe carry the most hype music and dubplates)

RUDEBOY SOUND - juggling sound

MY LORD SOUND - rub a dub sound (foundation music stright)

12 TRIBEZ SOUND - uk style + rub a dud music

UNITY SOUND - strickly israeli plates

as for the reggae scean here well people like tommer yossef or matisyahoo are not known as a reggae act's.

Yes REALITY,
that's similar to Australia.
Most of the bands here that have reggae in their sound are blends - reggae and funk a little hip-hop & gypsy style, yet often call themselves reggae.
The soundsystem culture here is definatley spreading tho & has a really good foundation in Melbourne.

I am running a sound called Rub A Dub Sound in Byron Bay - no dubplates yet but plenty of 7" juggling from old to new, roots to rub a dub to dancehall.

So would yo say in Isreal, the soundsystem or the bands get a better crowd/ crowd responce???
In Australia for a large majority, it is bands that people want to see...
