Jacqueline, Jacqueline, Jacqueline -
Girl, you want discipline.
Jacqueline, Jacqueline, Jacqueline -
Girl, you want discipline.
Talking 'bout, you live up inna Brooklyn.
We'll watch you girl, an' when you come from foreign.
Say I man, I go take you down to Robin.
Me I man gon' have you, on a two spliff and Heineken.
Jacqueline, Jacqueline, Jacqueline -
Girl, you want discipline.
Jacqueline, Jacqueline, Jacqueline -
Hey girl, you are discipline.
Take you all around, even show you birds on TV.
I take you by the mountainside,
And I show you the beautiful spring.
Now I hold on on your hand,
You don't want to give me no something.
Jacqueline, Jacqueline, Jacqueline -
Girl, you wanna b discipline.
Jacqueline, Jacqueline, Jacqueline -
Girl, you are discipline.

Jacqueline, Jacqueline, Jacqueline -
Girl, you must wanna be discipline.
Seems like you don't want to give I man, no something.
Pity you don't know, love is all I bring.
It looks like she want come hold on, for mi diamond ring.

SHAME ON YOU, you took plenty of lyrics from Esben I website (where I was contributing with lots of lyrics) and you didn't even credited him ! Why am I sure of that ? Because you even copied the mistakes I did while transcribing the lyrics... Eg Slave Master by Gregory Isaacs...Survival wrote:Hey Josue B.!

The wink at the end of Survival's post shows that he isn't actually taking credit for those lyrics.
The "Jacqueline" lyrics on Survival's site definitely weren't taken from the Ebsen I site. They were taken from my earlier post on this thread. And I transcribed those lyrics after I listened to the track as opposed to copying them from anywhere.
If you read the earlier post you will see I am actually given credit for this. Hence Survival's *joke*.

Sure 6anbatte
I didn't take them from Esben I, never heard of that site, let alone copying lyrics. What's the link anyway? Can't find it on Google.
6anbatte transcribed them indeed.. I didn't take credit, with the word 'created' in my next post I only meant 'added' (to Jah Lyrics website in this case). Sorry for the wrong choice of words, I am not a native English speaker, you see.
And therefore slengteng, you should chill.. you just make yourself look like a fool by starting to scream "Babylon!" ..
Seems we have a misunderstanding.. no offense taken.

Re: Lyric of ---> Hugh Mundell - Jacqueline
Esben I site no longer exists, he was a pioneer but since everybody took his transcriptions of lyrics, what the use to keep on paying for a site just like many others ?
I didn't see on your site the sentence "lyrics (sometimes/often) borrowed from all around the net". If there's already something like this, my apologies. Otherwise, you should think about adding it... Just to honour the people like Esben (and me) who took time to provide some good lyrics to non-native english speakers (I'm not english either). Don't misunderstand me, I'm definitely not looking for glory
but it took me hours to complete these lyrics, and seeing them copied and not even corrected, gets me kinda sad.
And I scream BABYLON whenever I feel offended, seen. So nobody's a fool here if everybody's honest. If you're honest (which you seem to be by reading your post), then no offense for me too.

Re: Lyric of ---> Hugh Mundell - Jacqueline
I never heard of Esben I, but I do indeed collect lyrics from the net, apart from others ways. So maybe other lyric sites copied of Esben and I copied it again..
There are so many lyric sites and forums that there is no way in the world I could keep track of who created them originally. Actually I think this is quite irrelevant too.
The purpose of the website is to unite all these reggae lyrics scattered on different sites, and to expand of course.
And I do listen to every song before I add them on Jah Lyrics and you can take a look yourself, that almost no lyric is the same in comparison to other sites, is it not it words, it is in format.
As for the site, it clearly states in the "about" section:
*"Jah Lyrics: Reggae Archives is a website created by and for Reggae lovers. The lyrics you'll find on this website have either been transcribed by us, taken from albums, collected from the net or from people who contributed to this website."*
Hope I cleared it up, no hard feelings.

Indeed, it would be nice to include the scource, even if the lyrics were taken from another website.
You can add a few to yours, Survival, from my Beres Hammond site: http://smokeyroom.net/harmonyhouse/lyrix/lyrix.htm
(Don't forget the credits. All were transcribed by yours truly)
