Augustus Pablo "Earth's Rightful Ruler"

I'm wondering if there is a dub or an instrumental cut to this rare vocal tune by Augustus Pablo?

No dub, although some of the vocal on this semi instrumental beauty is dubbed, albeit ever so slightly.

The original JA pressing of the LP was issued on Pablo's own Message label and was titled 'Earth Rightful Ruler', on both sides of the label and front & back of the sleeve.

I see the US Message/Shanachie LP has a different colour of label from the original JA press & the Shanachie CD is sleeved in a completely different cover. Shanachie may also have used the CD sleeve for their US LP sleeve as well. In this process they have managed to change the title of the LP/CD & it's title track to 'Earth's Rightful Ruler'.


This site has the title track listed as 'Earth Rightful's Ruler', but I'm sure someone can remedy that small error.

Actually, I was just talking about that album a few weeks ago and wondering about other tracks with dubs or extended 12" version.
specifically "Lightning & Thunder"
any idea?

If I remember correctly Zion Hill is a version of Delroy Williams´ Foxhole,
that has a dub called Son Of Man Dub.
Don´t know about any other (dub) versions from that album...

there are dubs to lightning and thunder but only on dubplate. I've heard a couple of varying quality. Love that tune!

This album was also released on CD in 1999 on the message label as "Earth Rightful Ruler" with the original cover artwork.
