.A bit old now,but new to me.Nice book.Roger Steffen and great photos by Peter Simon (perhaps the best photographer of reggae ever). Its not academic but what an entertaining piece of reggae fun.I just kinda wish Roger showed off his collection in the dvd.It has all theese neat little things and memorabillia scattered through out the book ,stuff that pops out hands on.It must of been a tough book to print. And for every one tree killed in the process of making it they planted two.
This reminds me to find, another coffee table book awhile back i cant remember title. It was just page after page of photos? or illustrations of reggae lp covers.Anyone know what im talking about?

I bought the Roger Steffans book when he was here in 11/07 in Brisbane Australia doing his Bob Marley talk tour .
He signed it for me while we had a chat outside after the talk ....great guy and a nice show with lots of Q and A.
I asked him if he knew where Bob's Gibson electric guitar was. He talked about it and other guitars of Bob's but did not give me an answer on the the Gibson.
Any one here know about it?

I got my copy from one of the local Record shops and just missed out on the tour he used to promote the book and the Bob Marley talk as well.I was a little miffed i missed out on it. But i really like the book and all the reproductions of lyrics tickets etc..Something i will very much cherish later i think.
