Oh well, each to their own, I thought "Showcase in a Suitcase" fell into the "cheap and nasty" category.
This one's pretty bad
[cover=7998,5187]
Another one that springs to mind is
[cover=2166,2521]
Now I'm not saying it isn't a cool looking cover. It happens to be one of my favourite covers, I say it's a bad cover because it's just a collage of random photos that have little to do with the music, there's even a picture of Jacob Miller in there and I'm not sure but I think that looks like Johnny Clarke at the bottom next to Scratch's elbow.
Worst reggae album covers of all time, ever...

You would not believe how crappy this looks when you hold it in your hands. It looks as though someone has taken a small drawing of H.I.M. found somewhere else and scaled it up to CD cover size using Paint Shop Pro - then saved it as a JPG with the compression set too high.

several of the black uhuru 80s records were a bit hurting on the cover photo scene...then again it was the 80s so there was much worse out there.

No suggestions, just to say that I love the hand drawn, felt tip and ruler style of artwork that you find on so many backayard record covers, and label logos. It is a genre of its own that deserves respect for its disregard for commercial mass marketing styles. There is soul in this artwork, a humanity you dont find anywhere else. Ghetto graphics, seen? Please check my post called Ghetto Graphics Gallery.

Let me guess, you're not an art critic? What is similar about those 2 covers other than the band being shirtless?
