Joe Gibbs' Amalgamated - Singer ID Please

Hi,

I tried to find out who is the singer in the tune The Scorcher from Joe Gibbs' The Amalgamated Label 1968 to 1971.

http://www.roots-archives.com/release/3 ... ight=47464 says Errol was the original singer back in the sixties but on this plate it seems someone else is on the vocals.

I'd be delighted if you could send me a lyrics url as well

it's a young Errol Dunkley
His anwser to Delroy Wilson's 'Cant Conquer Me'

in the late 60s there was some rivalry between them. Delroy Wilson was offcourse the original Jamaican child star, and when Errol Dunkley hit the scene, he copied his style and songs.

hi Janos, just keep in mind that Delroy was about 3-4 years older, so his teenage recordings are mainly Ska, not rock steady, because his voice had dropped during that era
