the best of alton ellis studio one Lp blue letters on label

can anyone tell me what year this alton ellis pressing if from Lp is best of alton ellis studio one the letters on label are written in blue .

cam anyone help?

Rated 10 out of 10 on Maple Studio 1 Page: "Alton at his best, you'd better believe the title this time.".
Whatever the colour of the label is, get it !!?!!

Sorry, don't know the year of that release. Anyone else?

More than the colours, the label design would help you. From memory the blue printing were used foir the 80's reissue.

Which label design have your disc?

Other detail to take into consideration: if there are some infos (ie: adress) you have an 80 press.

And the original press is on Coxsone,not on the studio one imprint :-) Can be an early 90s press. When quite a few early albums were repressed ( I cover the waterfront, jazz jamaica workshop, just to name 2 that pop up in mind )

Ed, you are perhaps right for 78 or 79, but I'm quite sure thate the first Fulton press (from the erea you mention) used the yellow and red label.

The label is the 7469 JPG anyone know what year the pressing is from?
