Dub Specialist - Zodiac Sounds

I've seen quite a few compilations by Dub specialist that are easy enough to get hold of, 17 Dub shots from Studio one, Studio one Dub etc but Zodiac sounds looks near impossible to find, from what I can tell this LP features many of his tracks like the swing easy version (actually in stereo) which asides from the Zodiac Sounds LP were released only in Mono. . . example "Dub it easy" is just the left channel of "Aries Dub" from Zodiac sounds, it would be nice to see these stereo mixes of his out on a compilation or a re release, or has that already happened and I've just missed it?

no that ones never been repressed for some reason (on vinyl at least, don't think on cd either). funny how they recycle the same terrible presses of some of the other dub lp's again and again and leave this gem untouched! the swing easy dub is killer!!

´recent´ made compilations while Zodiac sounds only had some releases in the 70s and was never repressed as stated above.

I know theres a different 1970s US release with different mixes, but don´t know if it´s in stereo.

Hi fashion dub top ten got at least 8 releases during the 70s 80s and 90 for example (were some tracks are stereo while others are mono ) 6 of them are different mixed. Don´t know about zodiac sounds, but something similar wouldn´t surprise me.

Back on the topic:

Musitronics, I suspect that the Heartbeat has done this on purpose to release so called "unreleased/alternate mixes" to fool the collectors.

Just to make things sure, I can say my copy of "Zodiac Sounds" is in stereo.

I have a 70's wax cover Winro copy. Definitely in stereo, and definitely different than the same named-dubs on the Heartbeat release.

Nice LP when you are in the mood for lots of echo and reverb, the version of Delroy Wilson's "Run Run" kills.
