Al Campbell/Smile/Bunny Lee/Zap Pow horns cut?

Post by flashman »

OK, here's a call for some investigating from all you ridiculously knowledgeable people.

On the Al Campbell album Ain't That Loving You from '78, produced by Bunny Lee, he does a cut on the Smile rhythm called Feeling of Love. It's a nice cut, but you can hear what sounds to me like the bleed through of a murderous horns cut going on in the background. According to RA, Zap Pow is credited as the "horns backing band" . Anyone know what this horns cut of the Smile rhythm is?
