Anyone ever bought something from this site? I bought a record on the 10. of May (a month ago) which I still haven't received. The money has been charged from me. I've since sent them three emails but they haven't replied to any of them (I sent the first one 8 days ago).
I find it quite weird that what seems like a major site would cheat anyone like that, but as the situation stands right now, they've stolen my money.

I have bought a lot from them in the past and and never had any problems. That was a couple of years so maybe things have changed. Have you tried phoning them?

Most orders I've made have been fine, but one had an item out of stock which I'd paid for via Paypal and they seemed to think that because they hadn't sent it I wouldn't be charged for it (which in theory is what happens if you pay by credit card - they only put the charge through if they have what you order). I had to chase them a few times and ring them up to get the refund - they refunded but not the right amount. I decided not to waste any more time over a couple of pounds.
FWIW I thought they were honest but just not really on the ball.

This could be the case I guess. I haven't called them but perhaps I will. Not sure I want to go through the trouble though, I'm located in another country and English is not my native language. It was only 10 quid but what annoys me is that I really wanted the tune.
In the several years I've bought records online this is the first time I have been ripped off.

The site is run by a guy named Mick, I have bought loads of music from him over the past 4-5 years and have got to know him pretty well. However, I have increasingly noticed that his efficiency in dispatching items quickly seems to have slowed and where orders used to take a couple of days to ship can now take up to a couple of weeks.
If you are in the UK why not give him a call, explain the problem and i`m sure he will sort it for you. his number is 01422 843056.
It might also be worth checking your account to see if and when it was shipped.
Reason I say this is that in the last couple of months I have had 5 online purchases that have been shipped but I have not received them.
When I spoke to our great British postal service all I got from them was they are trialing new technology in our area and that it has had teething problems.
Anyway good luck and I hope you get it sorted. If you do ring him quote my name and tell him I told you to phone.

Thanks for the help Dave. I hadn't thought about logging into my account on the site. Here my order is listed as "pending". Ugh, do I really need to call up the guy!? Incredibly bad customer service. I'm not located in the UK and not a native English speaker.
I really don't get why they/Mick(?) is able to update the site regularly but not able to send items or respond to customers' emails.
Hopefully he is just extremely slow processing and shipping orders and I'll get it eventually.

I get the impression that System is an online version of the traditional indepenedent record shop from years ago. There's probably piles of paperwork(orders in this case)and stacks of vinyl with one bloke on his own to manage it all.
As already suggested I would ring up, and I sure it will be sorted.

It sounds like something has gone wrong as he usually confirms shipment as soon as the money has cleared. As its still pending it could be he has just forgot to post it.
He does work alone and runs most of the business from his home and as his business has grown I think he has got a bit overwhelmed. I would say its a case of him not being very organised as opposed to being dishonest.
If you can sign up into the forum and send me a PM with your name and address and the details title, artist of the single i`ll ring him for you and PM you back his response.
