San Diego, CA Concert at the park

Do they still have free reggae concerts at the park like at J street or in National City since Trade Roots closed down I can't find any more info about the free concerts. Since summer is close by I'm just wondering anyone knows anything thanks

Blackheart Warriors (Trade Roots members) were playing at National City this past weekend but they posted a bulletin that it was being cancelled due to city making it complicated for them...we should start having free concerts again!

Im Always down to spin
All the sounds should unite
and have something at the park
Jah roots used to do reggae in the park
off Idaho st in north park but there hasn't been one
since 07 i think.

Sadly, Trade Roots has closed its doors for good. Good news is that King Of Kings, off of Broadway in chula vista has the most massive selection of roots and dancehall vinyls, from the golden years, in all of southern california - no joke! They finally got their shit together and are open every day - got to get the word out.

Reuben is still having Blackheart Warrior(and friends) sessions pretty regularly (monthly or bimonthly). Jah Roots Hi Fi can be seen every once in a while around town. Rasta Nation Posse is holding it down every sunday at Longboards in PB.
Just wait - no doubt there will be a session in the park this summer - just trying to get past the city's red tape.
