Alborosie is good yes, but Don asked about artists who sing in Italian, and alborosie just sings in English.

i'm from Italy but i don't follow the new roots , bashment movement....Alborosie is a good singer and use nice riddim but it's not my style so i can't judge. There is many other singers in New Roots/Dancehall like Sud Sound System , Jaka , Bunna...

In the Dub/Roots movement there is some very good singer like Dan I , Well Jahdgment , Zilpa (saw him with Roots Collective) , Paco Ten (which produced a 10'' with LDM) , Marina P (on Mungo's 10''), Sista 40 , Prince David , Humble Warrior (Roots Collective)...these fro north/center of Italy where i live and i go to sessions , i'm sure that in the South and on the islands there is other good singers
