Hi I'm new here, I need help with old Studio1 vinyl

Hi all,

I'm new here, I grew up on Reggae & Northern Soul and still love the choons, I prefer Roots and Lovers but have a liking for Dub too.

I was wondering if any of u can give me some advice about the value of an old Studio1 disc I have. It's a 1966 first pressing of Oldies but Goodies Vol 1 catalog # CSGW 0002 (taken from etching on the disc matrix)Listed on Discogs, go here: http://www.discogs.com/Various-Oldies-B ... se/1254365

I can't find any for sale anywhere and was just wondering if it has a value.

The album here in our archive is a JA re-press (GW 0002) released somewhere end 90's, sold today for about 20 USD.

Hi Hans, thanx, from reading on Discogs I was led to believe that if it was an original pressing it had the etching CSGW 0002 on the matrix does that also apply to the JA re-press?

Not for sure if matrix CSGW 0002 is an original pressing, probably someone else inhere can tell.
The pics in the Discog links are taken from the GW 002 release (the re-release).

CSGW 0002 is the matrix for the last? US repress, first press has a FCD prefix, the value is £5-£10.
