Difficult or maybe impossible to choose one...
It would be a close call between:
Jah Jah Children (Studio One)
House Is Not A Home (Studio One)
or perhaps 'Give My Love To You'
or 'Them Have To Come A We'
Just such a legacy of big big tunes.

One track for me that is really special is "Hard Time pressure".
Its the song that put me on the reggae road. I heard this track at a friends house back in 1980 and it just hit me.
As soon as I had the money I went out and bought the album "Black Roots" and the rest is history.
But in truth there are just too many great songs that he did to realisticaly choose just one.

Agree with Rootsman on Hard Time Pressure, also Love Gonna Pack Up and Buy off the Bar... and lots of others. What a sad loss, he was a great entertainer and all round good guy (especially when he asked me and a friend how we were doing from the stage in Glasgow when we were standing at the side to get a better view!) Same age as me too, now that is not good.

I love the 12" Studio One disco of Give me Jah Jah, over Alton's Breaking Up rhythm, with its sublime instrumental passage.
