Live at the Ace LP

I just got hold of an LP on Body Music called 'Live at the Ace', recorded live at the Ace in Brixton, London in 1983 (Nothing to do with the Yellowman/Fathead album). It's great but it only has half of the tracks listed on the sleeve. Toyan, Michael Prophet, and Ranking Trevor are on the record, but the sleeve also lists Alton Ellis, Little John, Billie Boyo, Errol Dunkley and Trinity. Does anyone know if this was released as a double disc or CD with all of these tracks on?

Digging around on the web, it looks like it was a double-LP, although without the Trinity tracks.

Yes, I have this on vinyl - it's a double LP, with the sets split across two discs. If it's any consolation, I'd say the Michael Prophet tracks are the highlight of the whole thing (I prefer this live version of Gunman to the Greensleeves 12" in some ways), although Errol Dunkley and Trinity are probably second and third respectively in terms of excellent performances.

A great Album mixed with live materials interblended with recorded tracks, Haven't played it in a good while.

Brixton Ace was a top venue, although the shows i went to were generally punk shows. It was refitted as the Brixton Fridge some years later and was more of a night club than concert venue.

Weirdly, I was there the night the First Gulf War broke out. It was a CND benefit against the war featuring techno/ambient/dubby types including The Shamen and there were banks of TV screens in the lobby where you could watch the bombing of Iraq. Very strange night.
