Good dub with flutes?

Post by ras_leroy »

Just wondering if anyone can give me a heads-up on some good examples of dub tracks with flute solos. I know Tommy McCook occasionally plays flute on Yabby You productions like "Jah High" and "Walls Of Jerusalem Dub". I;m also very into the Crystalites sound on "Concentration Ver.3". Any examples of other stuff like this?

Thanks.

One of my favorites is Kings Of Reggae - Chris Hinze, Word Sound And Power but I recall when I listened to it at first I didnt like it a bit. It is a record that grows on you. Well in my case anyway. Give it a try.

This one has some ruff dubs with flute thrown in occasionally. The mastering is not so good, but the mixes are very raw & stripped down. For those who fulljoy the raw JA vibe instead of the polished major record label "reggae" sound.
