Re: Gregory Isaacs in DIGITAL era
Personally 'Warning' is the finest Gregory digital LP (Tubby) also honourable mentions for his work for King Jammy; 'Let's Go Dancing' 'Guilty Of Loving You' are two that stand out for me...

Re: Gregory Isaacs in DIGITAL era
I could never hear what the big deal was with his Warning LP. The cover is cool but musically and lyrically there isn't anything that completely knocks me out. It's not that I find the tracks horrible but I sure don't hear anything outstanding on this LP.
And I'm not against the digital era of Gregory, there are some nice digital songs from him but I find that they are scattered over certain LPs.
To my ears, his 70s and even some 80s LPs had 5 to 6 very good songs on each LP but when it came to the 90s, I was lucky to find 2 very good songs per album. Warning though, I can't find one that hits me hard.

Come Along lp from '88 on Live & Love prod. by jammy's
is good. Or at least has some good tracks. I haven't heard it in a while and no longer have a copy, but I remember it being good.

'curfew international came upon a label called ocean or somthing similar, pretty good track
i like his: kingston 14 for style scott, report to me for gussie, two time loser for jammy's, corn a go bust for fatis, and so on
wish 'sweet lady could be re-released one day, such a heavy track
