yes yes.. They really seems to take the flute as a serious instrument at the Wackies stable back in the days.

When you look at the wackies documentary 'bullwackies in new york 1986' you can see one of the artist (forgot his name, but not clive hunt ) performing a flute solo live on stage..

Great flute work on Junior Murvin "Super Love", the version side is wicked with some serious flutations :)

My favourite flute cut in reggae is Tommy McCook's "Sensi". Sooooo peaceful

I have a JA 45 on the Typhoon label (matrix DSR 8053)by Flowers & Alvin titled 'Rastaman Going Home'. The dub side has flute on it from what I recall.

Goldmine, a version of Money In My Pocket, on the Jah Lloyd produced Goldmine Dub. Flute playing is credited to "Huntley".
